The Zoo Veterinary Clinic Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for staff zoo personnel and external clients needing veterinary services. The receptionist supports smooth clinic operations by managing front desk duties handling communications scheduling appointments and ensuring accurate record keeping all while maintaining a professional animal-friendly environment.
Client & Staff Interaction
Handle incoming calls and emails regarding animal care appointments emergencies and general inquiries.
Schedule and coordinate appointments for routine check-ups procedures and urgent care cases for zoo animals and occasionally exotic pets.
Maintain and update medical records appointment logs and animal care schedules.
Manage the reception area ensuring it is clean organized and professional at all times.
