GENERAL SUMMARY
The coordinator of youth ministry (CYM) and young adult ministry (YAM) provides vision and coordination for the parish's efforts in ministry to young people from 7th through 12th grades. This includes high school and middle school weekly or bi- weekly gatherings, service projects for the parish and the wider community, catechesis and sacramental preparation (Confirmation). In addition, this role integrates adolescent catechesis into a comprehensive ministry to, with, by and for young people guided by the principles of the USCCB document Renewing the Vision.
