Year 2 Teaching Assistant-Standish

Milk Education are working with a primary school in Standish (WN6) who are seeking a full-time Year 2 Teaching Assistant to work 1-2-1 with a child in Year 2 who has Autism. This temporary role is starting immediately- July 2026 with the potential of this role going permanent directly at the school. The School are looking for someone who is patient, nurturing and accommodating to the child’s learning needs for this Year 2 Teaching Assistant position. The hours of work are 08:30am- 15:30pm, Monday to Friday.

This Year 2 Teaching Assistant role will involve keeping the child on task and ensuring that the work they doing is being done to a good standard. You will be responsible for getting resources ready for the day and ensure the child’s needs are being met. In this Year 2 Teaching Assistant role you will provide a patient and nurturing learning environment for the child.
