Job Description

Yardman

Our client has opportunities available as a Yardman based in a construction business outside Peterborough. 


This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors and being part of a practical, fast-paced environment.


The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting daily yard operations and providing excellent service to their customers.


Main Duties:

  • Loading and unloading goods using a forklift as trained.

  • Assisting and serving customers.

  • Moving and organising stock within the yard and warehouse.

  • Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe yard environment with clear turning areas for vehicles.

  • Supporting the wider team with general yard duties as required.

  • Liaising with Works Manager regarding stock levels

  • Ensuring all visitors to site are signed in and comply with site rules.
