**Job Description**

The Yard Material Handler safely operates an enclosed sit-down industrial forklift in a lumber yard environment to move, stage, and organize large building materials according to work orders. This role supports smooth yard operations by handling long-length wood and lumber, coordinating with other operators and production workers, and maintaining accurate inventory movement throughout the facility.

**Responsibilities**

+ Operate an enclosed sit-down industrial forklift capable of lifting up to 10,000 lbs in a safe and efficient manner.
+ Pick up, move, and stage lumber and building materials according to work orders and material handling instructions.
