Yard Assistant & Relief HGV Driver (Class 2)

Have a Class 2 licence but prefer being part of a busy branch team on the ground? Want to keep your licence active without spending all day, every day out on the motorway?

At Travis Perkins, we are the UK’s leading timber and builders’ merchant, and we’re looking for a Yard Assistant & Relief HGV Driver to join our close-knit branch team.

This is a hands-on, variety-filled role where you will predominantly be based in our yard, serving customers and keeping operations moving. However, because you hold a Class 2 licence, you will be our vital go-to relief driver, stepping into the cab to cover local deliveries when any of our three full-time drivers are on holiday or off sick.
