Roles & Responsibilities To assist the Project Manager in implementing the safety management system to ensure staff and workers work in a safe and healthy environment. To assist the Project Manager in implementing the permit to work system and to stop & report to the project manager any incompatible works relating to the same. To act as the secretary of the Project WSH Committee and chair the meeting such that the company staff and subcontractors are aware of the site activities and the required actions. To assist the Project Manager in complying with the WSH Acts and Regulation. To conduct periodic safety inspection to verify level of safety compliance so that the safety standards are constantly improved. To ensure site compliance with statutory safety requirements and in-house safety rules and regulations and to report any deviations to the Project Manager for management consideration.
