**The Role**

The **Workplace Safety Group - Safety Operations** role at General Motors LLC is responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment through the implementation and oversight of occupational safety and health programs and practices across our facilities.

**What You'll Do**

+ Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive occupational safety and health programs and procedures in alignment with federal, state, and local regulations and GM internal standards.
+ Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
+ Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
