The Graduate Industry Traineeships (GRIT) Programme is an initiative by Workforce Singapore (WSG)that offers fresh graduates with traineeship opportunities for a period of 6 months across various sectors.

The programme aims to support fresh graduates, with no prior working experience, from Universities, Polytechnics, Institutes of Technical Education (ITE) and other Educational Institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions), amid uncertainties in the economy. It supports structured traineeships for trainees to gain hands‑on industry‑relevant experience and skills, preparing them for successful transition into full‑time employment.

All trainees must fulfil the following criteria:

• Graduated in 2024, 2025 or 2026 from Universities, Polytechnics, Institutes of Technical Education (ITE), or other Educational Institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or
