Hemat Gryffe Women’s Aid supports women, children and young people experiencing domestic abuse, forced marriage and honour-based abuse primarily from the Asian, Black and Minority Ethnic community. We provide refuge accommodation, follow on and outreach services for women and children. We have a vacant post for a women’s worker to support women experiencing domestic abuse or who have experienced domestic abuse. It is essential that you have knowledge and understanding of the impact of domestic abuse upon women. A qualification that meets the needs of the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) housing support registration is required otherwise training will be provided to achieve this qualification.
