Job Summary:  2nd shift

Winding of electric motors through inserting copper wire coils and connecting the jumpers/lead cables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Intermediate interpretation of motor specifications. (BOM and Winding Instruction Sheet)


• Inserter: Intermediate inserting insulation and insulated copper wire coils into motor stator cores, according to specifications. Pre-form coil end turns with Rubber Mallet/forming peddles trim phase Separators


• Connector: Intermediate level pre-Form end turns connect jumpers/ lead cable (Solder, Hydraulic or Air Crimper)


• Hand lace winding end turn


• Inspect to assure compliance with Quality Control criteria, and perform associated tasks, forming coils as needed


• Provide help when needed in other manufacturing areas and cross train in other positions within the Coil
