Teacher (SEMH/SEND)
Working across the William Henry Smith School & Sixth Form and William Henry Smith Specialist College
Purpose of the Job:
To deliver high-quality, engaging and inclusive teaching to learners with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The role focuses primarily on teaching Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM), while contributing more broadly to a flexible, cross-curricular offer that supports learners’ academic, personal and vocational development.
The postholder will embody the Foundation’s core values of community, collaboration, integrity, compassion, and visionary thinking, ensuring these are reflected in all aspects of teaching, learning, and professional practice.
