Job Description
Required Qualifications
- National Diploma or Certificate in Draughting, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architectural Technology, or related field.
- AutoCAD certification or relevant CAD training.
- Revit MEP training or certification is advantageous.
- Additional fire protection or plumbing design courses are beneficial.
- 25+ years experience in wet services and/or fire services draughting.
- Strong working knowledge of:
- AutoCAD
- Revit MEP
- BIM coordination
- MS Office
- Understanding of:
- Plumbing systems
- Fire protection systems
- Water reticulation
- Drainage systems
- Hydraulic principles
- Knowledge of South African building regulations and SANS standards, particularly:
- SANS 10400
- Fire protection regulations
