Key Performance AreasThe functions of the Ombudsman are:
(a) to receive and investigate complaints submitted in terms of section of the Act regarding inefficiency of the police or a breakdown in relations between the police and any community; and
(b) to perform the other functions assigned to him/her under the Act.
