Key Performance Indicators

• Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in welding.
• Analyzes work drawings and weld documentation to determine need for supplies, resources and sequence of operations required.
• Manage and maintain welder qualification records.
• Requisitions supplies, such as welding inspector to maintain specified standards and quality.
• Trains workers in operation of equipment.
• Set up machines or make trial welds to make test runs and experimental products.
• Supervise fitting and assembly components.
• Ensure proper/regular maintenance is done on welding equipment.
• Performs other general supervisory duties.
