**IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:**

+ Join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable materials using appropriate welding techniques and equipment
+ Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams, and schematics to determine correct welding processes
+ Inspect completed welds to ensure structural soundness and quality
+ Set up and prepare components for welding according to specifications
+ Operate angle grinders and other tools to prepare parts for welding
+ Align components using calipers, rulers, and measuring tools; clamp pieces securely
+ Perform welding in various positions (vertical, horizontal, and overhead) using manual or semi-automatic equipment
+ Repair machinery and components by welding parts and filling gaps
+ Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify defects or inconsistencies
+ Maintain welding equipment and work areas in a condition that meets all safety standards
