WAVY-TV 10/ WVBT FOX43 is searching for a dynamic SPORTS INTERN who wants to learn the inner workings of a newsroom and Sports Department including, but not limited to: Writing, shooting, and editing for sports reports in newscasts. The intern will be working with photographers and sports reporters in the newsroom and in the field to prep for the final on-air stories, as well as experiencing other departments and aspects of a TV station.

This is an UNPAID / FOR-CREDIT position for the Fall semester 2026 only.

We are looking for someone who has completed journalism and TV Production courses, understands journalistic integrity, and has a passion for the news and sports news fields. Should have a working knowledge of video editing using software like AVID/Final Cut Pro, but ADOBE Creative Suites is preferred. Familiarity with sports and newswriting software is a plus.
