This is a part-time position.

7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. 16 hours per week.

Schedule requires working every other weekend.

Pay for the Ward Secretary position is $16.03 per hour.

Job Summary
Under direction of licensed nursing staff and coordinator, provides general clerical duties, reception duties and requisition of supplies, equipment, and services from other departments. Assists in maintaining the general function of the Nursing Station.

Essential Functions
+ Answers call lights and forwards requests to appropriate team members.
+ Answers all telephone calls within three (3) rings using appropriate scripting.
+ Uses physician calling preferences when contacting physicians 100% of the time.
+ Contacts physicians in a timely manner regarding consults per policy, according to physician’s order (stat vs. routine).
+ Assembles, disassembles, and maintains patient medical record per unit standard.
