Job Description

Responsibilities

Planning

  • Plan for quality assurance activities with timelines and effort estimates. Manage resources to support testing demand.

    • Requirements gathering

  • To discuss and work with SA & Dev teams or SMBC to understand the testing requirements to determine the testing coverage and collect sample test data (if available).

    • Documentation

  • Review documentations created by QA team leader, Senior System Analyst or vendor to ensure quality.

    • Testing and tracking

  • Tracking testing activities against test plans and track defects (Log Defect with assigned Severity, Retest and Close Defect) discovered to resolution. Report statistics and statuses to PM.

    • People management

  • Provideguidance and mentorship to the team and ensure process and compliance is met.Provide direction, support and set performance goals to the team. Timely escalate issues to PM.
