The Computer Science Department within the College of Nanotechnology, Science, and Engineering at the University at Albany, SUNY, is seeking applicants for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Computer Science for the 2026-2027 academic year, with the possibility of renewal for AY27-28.
The successful candidate is expected to develop an externally funded research program in computer science. In addition, the applicant will be responsible for teaching 2-4 courses per year at the undergraduate and graduate levels and participate in curriculum development. Specific teaching assignments will be determined by the candidate's expertise and the needs of the Department.
Faculty are expected to provide service to the College and to their home departments and programs by participating in governance as well as providing professional service to the community and their dis...
