Job Description
- The position requires independent leadership role to deliver on Credit Risk Insurance business initiatives and to continue to grow placement volumes in Asia
- The role entails developing a robust operational and compliance framework for Insurance business, including compliance with HO and APAC regulations and internal guidelines
- Monitoring and ensuring timely execution, reporting, filing and completion of Compliance related activities as per Insurance Manual.
- All solicting, executing/placing, monitoring and reporting on all Insurance (credit insurance) related matters for SMBC as may be required by front office in Asia Pacific (for trade and non-trade) and East Asia (for non-trade).
- To lead the distribution of transactions and provide transaction structuring inputs to ensure maximum insurance underwriter interest and successful distribution of transactions into the credit insurance market.
