Job Description
Position Overview:
The Veterinary Patient Care/ICU Technician/Assistant will provide advanced clinical care to critically ill or injured patients in the intensive care unit (ICU) and other hospital areas. This role requires a highly motivated and skilled individual who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in emergency and critical care, along with a strong understanding of patient care and monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Provide direct nursing care to ICU patients, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing medical treatments as prescribed.
+ Assist veterinarians or emergency technicians in emergency procedures and advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques when needed.
+ Perform routine patient assessments, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiratory rate monitoring.
