The Dogs and Cats Emergency & Specialty in Bowie, MD is hiring a full- time Veterinary Technician to join our Oncology team!
Schedule:  

+ 10-Hour shift  

+ Monday - Thursday  

+ Day Shift 

+ Holidays (required)  

Pay Range:  

$19.00 - $29.00 per hour (commensurate with experience) 

Key Responsibilities:  

+ To provide support to the oncologist with incoming consultations  

+ Managing the flow of appointment schedule 

+ Assist DVM with patient assessment 

+ Triage and acquire vitals 

+ Providing nursing skills and support with any treatment and diagnostic requests 

+ Obtaining and processing laboratory samples such as blood, urine, fluids, and fine needle aspirates 

+ Administration of sedatives as needed and conducting required patient monitoring
