The Loan Verifications Specialist plays a critical role in the consumer lending process by reviewing and validating customer information, resolving application requirements and supporting loan funding activities. + Review and verify customer information, documentation, and loan stipulations for accuracy and compliance.
+ Investigate and resolve missing information by working with customers, branch teams, underwriting, and third-party partners.
+ Validate identity, employment, income, and other information used in loan decisions.
+ Review loan documentation and support funding activities to ensure timely and accurate loan disbursement.
+ Identify potential fraud indicators, discrepancies, or complex situations and escalate as appropriate.
