Purpose of the role:
Moore Kingston Smith has identified a need to ring-fence the VAT compliance function as a key service offering in the Outsourcing Team. The successful person would be responsible for operating and developing a full range of compliance service offerings, particularly with regards to offering clients support with Making Tax Digital and the evolving automation of tax functions.

The person would need to be experienced in working with VAT accounting systems and extrapolating data for the preparation of VAT returns. The person should also have good inter personal skills in order to be able to communicate effectively with all the various clients, colleagues and HMRC staff as necessary.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
-Manages a portfolio of clients ensuring that for each client all deadlines are met, the work is carried out within budget and the job is finalised to minimise manager/director review time.
