Vascular Technologist performs non-invasive vascular ultrasound and blood pressure studies.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
Comply and adhere to the department's in-service vascular training schedules and programs in acquiring knowledge and skills to perform diagnostic vascular ultrasound and non-invasive vascular studies for diagnostic of peripheral vascular disease and other vascular abnormalities. Generate written and diagram reports on the findings acquired. Ensure that the vascular works are carried out properly as stated in the protocols for ultrasound and other non-invasive procedures. Complete all training assignments as scheduled by the senior vascular technologist. Perform non-invasive vascular testing under supervision by vascular/senior vascular technologist and vascular doctors. Provide education and counseling service to patients.
