Interim Maintenance Manager – Valencia, Spain

We are currently supporting an international food manufacturing company in the search for an experienced Interim Maintenance Manager to lead a critical transformation project at one of its strategic production sites in Valencia.

This is a high-impact assignment focused on:

✔ Improving operational reliability

✔ Reducing equipment downtime by 30–45%

✔ Strengthening preventive maintenance practices

✔ Driving the transition from reactive to proactive maintenance

✔ Supporting ongoing investment and modernization projects

Ideal profile:

• Strong industrial Maintenance Management experience

• Background in process industries (food experience is not essential)

• Experience in preventive/predictive maintenance, reliability and continuous improvement

• Comfortable leading teams in 24/7 industrial environments

• Hands-on leadership style with strong change management capabilities

• Experience with CMMS systems and KPI-driven maintenance organizations

• Operations Directors / Plant Managers with recent maintenance leadership experience will also be considered

Location: Valencia, Spain

Duration: Initial 6-month interim assignment with possible extension

Languages: Fluent English required | French is a plus

Start date: ASAP
