Job Description
Performs general clerical and receptionist duties incidental to work on patient care unit, including preparing, compiling and maintaining records in nursing unit.

Job Responsibility

+ * Performs a variety of duties relative to admission, discharge and/or transfer of patients.
+ Prepares patient charts, laboratory and x-ray slips, etc for new admissions.
+ Enters into Keane and then distributes to appropriate departments, assembles patient charts and forwards completed chart to Medical Records within established time interval.Notifies assigned departments when patients are admitted, discharged, transferred, placed on 'Everyday List' , expired, etc.
+ * Performs a variety of clerical duties required to maintain accurate charts during patient stays.
+ Files appropriate paperwork such as Medicare forms including the IMN form, and all other forms into chart.
