The Underwriting Consultant will experience front line exposure, interdependence with a strong team of professionals, and opportunities both to learn from seasoned Underwriters and to mentor more junior staff. The main accountability will be managing underwriting risk which will drive profitable long‑term financial results.

Reporting to the Director, Corporate Accounts Underwriting, you will be directly responsible for managing risk, profitability and persistency on a specific block of Group Benefits clients, helping the organization to achieve or exceed our targets. You will also assist with onboarding of new clients working directly with them and their advisors to help create a strong first impression of Manulife.
