Job Description
Responsibilities
- Underwrite and quote a diverse portfolio of Hull & Machinery (H&M) and Cargo accounts for both new and existing clients, with a strong focus on local insureds, within defined underwriting authority limits.
- Specialize in underwriting commercial and/or complex cargoes eg: project cargoes, bulk etc. as well as high-value marine risks, including pleasure crafts and bluewater vessels.
- Manage the full lifecycle of facultative reinsurance inwards and outwards, ensuring alignment with the company’s risk appetite and strategic objectives.
- Drive business development and growth through strategic collaboration with intermediaries and key clients to achieve top and bottom-line targets.
- Oversee policy documentation, issuance of endorsements and certificates and ensure seamless coordination with internal processing teams and intermediaries/ clients.
