This post offers an ideal career opportunity for a doctor awaiting entry into a core or specialty training programme. It is particularly suited to a post Foundation Year 2 or Junior Registrar who has a strong interest in high quality medical education and immersive simulation. The primary duty of the post holder is to support the delivery of the Trust's undergraduate immersive simulation programmes. This post is based at QEH with expectation of cross site cover.

Programmes are mapped to core curriculum requirements as stipulated by partner universities and may also be developed in line with specific site based initiatives and service requirements. Immersive undergraduate simulation programmes form a part of the wider trust offer for undergraduate students on placement and are evaluated both locally and as a part of trust wide review.
