In the US alone, almost 6 million people annually miss or delay healthcare appointments due to transportation issues. Breaking down logistical barriers to care and closing social determinants of health gaps will make healthcare more efficient, curb downstream costs through stronger healthcare appointment adherence, and help patients live healthier lives. We do this by leveraging Uber's unique assets to provide healthcare ecosystem partners and consumers with HIPAA-compliant on-demand transportation - at scale.
