Position Summary Information

The Mail Processor I – Performs mail distribution administrative and clerical tasks, serving individuals engaged in widely diverse tasks across WSSC Water.

Essential Functions

• Distributes and delivers all U.S. mail, packages and WSSC Water correspondence to respective recipients
• Drives approximately 50 to 70 miles or more daily to distribute mail, packages and interoffice correspondence to Commission facilities and other miscellaneous sites within the WSSC Water service area
• Operates the mail machines and tracks and records usage statistics
• Files and labels documents and other materials for storage and retrieval
• Ensures that proper postage is applied to provide the best value to the Commission
