Position Overview

This position is Monday- Friday 3pm-11pm


POSITION OBJECTIVE: Serve the Tufting Department by making necessary blade rebuilds and blade changes. There will also be responsible for repairs and/or adjustments to yarn dollies, and minor repairs to creels.


Essential Duties:

+ Rebuild (jig) blade blocks

+ Install Blade Blocks in tufting machine

+ Remove Blades from the machine

+ Make necessary repairs to Creels

+ Clean and replace wheels on yarn dollies

+ Preform housekeeping tasks for the department including painting

+ Repair held tufting rolls as needed

+ Splitting tufting rolls to meet customer requirements


Non-Essential Duties:

+ Serve on task forces and committees as necessary

+ Perform other non quality-related duties as directed by Supervisor
