Position Summary

We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our GoHealth BC Team. Under the direction of the Lead Technologist, Clinical Laboratory-GoHealth BC, or the Departmental Lead, the Technologist obtains and prepares specimens for routine analysis across Biochemistry, Hematology, Transfusion Medicine, and Accessioning, following departmental procedures and the standards of the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS). This is a travel position that supports communities in Prince George and Fort St. John and will soon expand to other British Columbia communities.

Responsibilities

• Obtain, process, and document specimens for routine laboratory analysis.
• Perform procedures within the disciplines of Biochemistry, Hematology, Transfusion Medicine, and Accessioning.
