Trauma and Orthopaedics Consultant – Upper Limb

We are seeking an enthusiastic, innovative and friendly Consultant to join our department at The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust. Applicants should hold FRCS (or equivalent) and be on the General Medical Council's specialist Register in Trauma and Orthopaedics. A British or European Hand Diploma is desirable.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will join our existing team of two Upper Limb Consultants to provide a dedicated Upper Limb service. Most cases will be performed on a day‑case basis with anaesthetic support using regional blocks. The inpatient workload will arise primarily from general trauma on‑call, with junior doctor support arranged on a shared basis.
