Responsibilities

• You will join the operations team as a Transport Planner.
• You are responsible for scheduling drivers in the most profitable way, taking into account:
  • Minimize operational costs (empty kms, most optimal combinations, waiting hours, customer opening hours, booked time slots and closing trains)
  • Customer service expectations to achieve the highest possible customer satisfaction
• A daily follow-up of all drivers is necessary to keep everything on track. You are in daily contact with drivers, subcontractors and other operational departments to pursue the highest possible service level for customers.
• Further you take care of the correct administrative processing of the transport in our TMS system so that a constant follow-up of all resources is possible as well as correct invoicing.
• In this position, you report to the Team Leader Truck Planning.
