Responsibilities As a TRAINING SPECIALIST, GS-1712-11, you will develop short and long term training plans (5 years and more) for the state; review and analyze regulations, directives and documents of higher, lower and adjacent headquarters to ensure training objectives are identified and met; evaluate plans to ensure compliance with training regulations, guidance and policies; identify weaknesses and problem areas in training plans, U.S. Army Western Hemisphere Command (USAHWC) 1Rs (evaluation of training activities) and schedules; serve as state's marksmanship coordinator; coordinate resources to ensure units have a viable ongoing unit marksmanship program as outlined in ARNG policy; promote the marksmanship program to commanders; revie...
