The primary purpose of this position is to provide quality instructional support to the DoD Fire Protection Training School in training firefighters to meet the needs of the DoD Fire Protection community. Responsibilities Conducts classroom, laboratory, and field instruction. Conducts classroom, laboratory, and field instruction using standardized, well- established methods such as discussion, demonstration, and practical application, presents subject matter material to students. Monitors and evaluates student progress. Monitors and evaluates firefighter courses. Develops and updates firefighting course materials to include lesson plans.
