Job Description
Become the Deputy Fire Chief at Leduc County, focusing on training and operational excellence. Lead fire services initiatives in support of community safety and effective fire response.
As a key leader in the Fire Services department, you will report to the Director – Protective Services/Fire Chief. You will be responsible for guiding firefighter training programs, managing emergencies, and enforcing safety codes. Your role is essential in nurturing a professional environment focused on continuous improvement and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop fire services operational and strategic plans
• Manage staff recruitment and training programs
• Ensure readiness of facilities and protective equipment
• Lead fire inspections and incident command operations
