**Job Description**

+ Performs basic administrativefunctions.
+ Performs basic data entry and collection, as well as statistical analysis, for investigator-initiated research projects.
+ Writes research manuscripts for submission to academic journals.
+ Assists in preparing IRB and GCO submissions/filings.
+ Obtains informed consent under supervision of the investigator(s) and educates participants regarding study requirements.
+ Performs other related duties assigned.

**Qualifications**

Non-Bargaining Unit, 842 - Neurosurgery - ISM, Icahn School of Medicine

**Responsibilities**

+ High School Diploma or GED required, Associates or greater depending on department and role.
+ Bachelor’s degree or higher in Science or a related field preferred
+ Exposure to academic research environments, (authorship on previous academic publications is preferred)
