Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, Position Description Number D1921000 and is part of the CO JFHQ G4, National Guard. The purpose is to manage Department of Defense (DOD) convoys moving within the state; and to plan, organize and direct preparation, maintenance and execution of peacetime and wartime ARNG movement plans for all units within the state. Responsibilities Serves as primary state representative and point of contact for all DOD highway movements. Coordinates directly with the state Department of Transportation (DOT) to determine highway availability, restrictions, permit requirements and changes or additions to the State Highway Network Database. Coordinates directly with the USPFO Traffic Manager to obtain necessary commercial transportation support.
