TRADES SUPERVISOR – UPLANDS

BC Ferries is seeking a highly motivated, safety focused Trades Supervisor – Uplands to support, supervise and coordinate activities comprising a variety of trades primarily engaged in the repair and preventative maintenance of buildings and grounds as well as other assets and special projects as required. You will schedule labour resources ensuring safe work practices and efficiency in meeting established work schedules and deadlines. You will coordinate with Managers, Project Leaders, Planners and Supervisors to organize and ensure appropriate resource allocation and communication of work plans and information throughout work groups. You will supervise the activities of tradespersons, helpers, laborers, contractors and other employees engaged in inspection and repair activities as required, to ensure company standards are consistently met.
