Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Auto Hobby, Beale AFB, CA. This is a flexible position, is not guaranteed hours and does not receive benefits, but could work anywhere between 0-40 hours per week. Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally handle objects weighing up to 40 pounds. Responsibilities Issues, receives and schedules use of equipment, tools and repair/paint stalls for patrons. Uses chit or other parts assignment system for accountability of assigned tools. Determines type of repair job involved and suggests a variety of tools needed to accomplish the repair. Provides instructions to customers on cleaning processes, soiled rag disposal, sweeping and cleanup of repair or pit stall and removal of excess automotive parts.
