A Toolmaker is responsible for the disassembly, assessment, repair, and assembly of Blow and Injection Molding tooling to ensure optimal production performance.


Essential Functions

+ Safely operate all machinery, hand tools, and equipment.

+ Resolve tooling issues based upon production feedback.

+ Participate in tooling repairs and communicate all issues to senior staff.

+ Perform specialty operations as requested by senior staff (milling, turning, welding, grinding, polishing, etc.).

+ Electronically document all work performed for every mold.

+ Read blueprints and utilize precision measurement devices (height gauges, bore gauges, micrometers, sine plates, gauge blocks, etc.) to verify components meet print specifications.
