Job Description:

  • The Toolroom Supervisor will source new product tooling, provide tool specifications, follow-up and manage the building of new tools, follow-up and manage changes to new or existing tooling, and facilitate the preventative maintenance of existing tooling.

  • The Toolroom Supervisor is required to manage overall maintenance costs and audit tool sources to maintain the lowest cost available.


    • Nature and Scope / Principal Accountabilities:
  • Serve on program teams to manage the building of new product tooling

  • Develop and maintain tool standards

  • Assist maintenance in tool preventative maintenance

  • Manage changes to tools

  • Interface with manufacturing to resolve processing issues through potential tool changes

  • Research alternative tooling sources for better cost, quality, and delivery
