Under supervision of the Trade Shop Supervisor or designated Supervisor, performs various routine duties pertaining to Consolidated Tool Kits (CTKs), tools, and test equipment. Issues and controls all support tools and equipment. Responsible for the accountability and status of all equipment assigned to the Tool Room. Receives, issues and keeps records of tools, equipment and other materials used by the Department. Responsible for the maintenance and repair of all tools assigned within the Tool Rooms. Evaluates the condition of all tools and makes the determination as to whether they are safety compliant or need to be removed from service.
