Overview A Therapy Assistant provides support to therapists before, during and after therapy sessions. Responsibilities include assisting in transferring and mobility, in department administration and operations, and engaging in continuing education to further skills and knowledge in speech, occupational and physiotherapy. The individual could work at times in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team with speech, occupational and physiotherapists, physicians, audiologists, psychologists and social workers. Being diligent, flexible and resourceful is essential.
