We are actively seeking a talented individual to contribute to devising pathways to bridge the gap between the requirements for large-scale fault‑tolerant quantum computing and our current experimental implementation of quantum error correction based on bosonic codes. The primary focus will be on the theory and simulation team. Responsibilities
Design of bosonic error‑correction and computation schemes: exploit all the rich physics of bosonic qubits to design better error‑correcting protocols to scale more efficiently toward fault‑tolerant quantum computing. This includes designing new error‑correcting codes as well as improving the physical implementation of existing codes. Investigate ways to improve computation schemes using bosonic qubits.
