Job Description

Job overview:

Schneider is seeking a Terminal Manager in Houston to be accountable for acquiring capacity, maintaining safety standards and growing customer relationships for a localized area. The Terminal Manager will develop strategic plans, provide coaching and ensure the terminal is operating productively.

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide leadership, coaching and training to a team of associates.
  • Develop an annual budget, strategic business goals and action plans that promote profitable growth for the region.
  • Ensure freight is being serviced by developing choice tendering processes and procedures.
  • Drive effective, low-cost results by identifying, implementing and monitoring key business metrics.
  • Review customer lanes for profitability.
